1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing tutor.new and using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree with any part of the Terms, you must not use our services.

2. Service Description

tutor.new provides online tutoring sessions delivered by AI-powered avatars. Our tutors support students of all ages with homework, exam preparation and skill development.

3. Account Registration

Certain features require an account. You agree to provide accurate information and to keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for all activities under your account.

4. Fees and Payment

The first lesson is free. Subsequent lessons cost €2 per hour. Fees are billed monthly in advance. Unpaid invoices may result in suspension of your account.

5. Cancellation

You may cancel your account at any time with no long-term commitment. Unless required by law, fees already paid are non-refundable.

6. Privacy

Your personal information is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy. By using our services, you consent to such processing.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on tutor.new, including text, graphics and logos, is protected by copyright and may not be reproduced without our written permission.

8. Limitation of Liability

We are not liable for any indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of our services. Our total liability is limited to the amount you have paid us in the previous 12 months.

9. Modifications

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be announced at least 14 days before they take effect via email or on the website.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Switzerland, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
